Rock Bridge Memorial State Park
Located just minutes away from Columbia, Rock Bridge Memorial State Park will give you and your team the chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. This park is home to some of the most popular hiking trails in Missouri. These trails include Deer Run Trail, which follows the hills along the park’s northern and western boundaries through secluded woods before reaching the banks of Little Bonne Femme Creek, making it the perfect place to spot deer as well as beavers and muskrats; High Ridge Trail, which climbs towards rolling hilltops and eventually descends to follow alongside Clear Creek.
If your group is feeling particularly adventurous, the rugged Devil’s Icebox Trail will take you downwards towards the most impressive geological features in the park, perhaps most notably the park’s namesake, a towering 63-foot high natural tunnel known as the rock bridge. For an even more special experience at Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, call ahead to schedule a guided tour of Devil’s Icebox and Connor’s Cave or educational program conducted by a park naturalist. Other features of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park include several picnic areas scattered throughout and a playground with swings, slides, a tunnel, and more. 5901 S Highway 163, Columbia, MO 65203
