Reno-Sparks Convention Center – Things To Do With Your Team
Famous for its nickname, “The Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno does indeed have a lot for guests to do. You may find yourself in Reno if your team has a tournament at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The complex consists of five exhibit halls making up 381,000 square feet. A small shopping center is conveniently located across the street with a few places to eat in case you want to get a quick bite. You won’t need to hang around the convention center for the entire trip though. Make the most out of it and explore a few of Reno’s points of interest.

Magic Carpet Mini Golf
Mini golf is an activity that is consistently enjoyable for all ages. Many facilities usually only have one, maybe two courses to play, not Magic Carpet Mini Golf. This place provides three courses ranging in difficulty from easy to hard. Two of the courses are 19-holes, the other is a whopping 28! As you attempt to putt your golf ball into the hole, you will encounter a host of obstacles. You’ll run into the standard obstructions like waterfalls and water traps, bunkers, and disorienting bumps, but that’s only the start of Magic Carpet Mini Golf’s impediments. Moving hindrances also occupy the courses. Skeletons opening and closing their mouths require you to have impeccable timing. Watch out for a spider descending from its web to snatch your ball too. A trip to Magic Carpet isn’t complete without stopping by their arcade. Carve out a little extra time to play a few games before you head back to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. 6925 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89511
Break Through Reno
Discover if your team can work as well in a small room full of clues and puzzles as they do at a tournament when you go to Break Through Reno. You have your pick from four perplexing rooms ranging in themes. The Mask is an intense room where you find yourself trapped at a killer’s house, and he isn’t happy that you’re trespassing. As you scramble around figuring out how to escape, he’s planning on taking care of you when the hour is up.
Another room, Betrayal at High Noon, promotes you to a deputy who has made quite a few enemies. Someone has betrayed you and locked you up in your own jail while gangsters run the city. They plan on executing you at high noon. The only way to survive is to break out. Break Through Reno’s other two rooms are equally as fun and puzzling. You can’t make a wrong decision when selecting which room to try. 294 E Moana Ln, Reno, NV 89502
