National Orange Show Event Center – Dining

If you get hungry while attending an event at the National Orange Show Event Center, don’t worry about there not being any good places to grab a bite to eat nearby. In fact, there’s a great restaurant right on site! The Catch, located inside the National Orange Show Martin A. Matich Sports Center, has a menu with something for everyone enjoy. On it you’ll find everything from nachos, burgers, and hot dogs to Mexican favorites like tacos, tostadas, and burritos.

Even more dining options are located within walking distance of the National Orange Show Event Center. Inland Center, a popular regional shopping mall, features a variety of eateries and is less than a 10-minute walk from the National Orange Show Event Center. They’ve got your typical food court fare, including Auntie Anne’s, Panda Express, Sbarro, and Subway.

If you’d prefer to dine at a local establishment instead, Burger Mania is a solid choice. This no-frills burger joint is also less than a 10-minute walk from the National Orange Show Event Center. In addition to burgers, they serve a variety of breakfast and Mexican dishes along with sandwiches, salads, sides, and more.

 

The Catch

Since it’s located on the grounds of the National Orange Show Event Center, The Catch is a great dining option for attendees who don’t want to have to worry about wasting time going somewhere else to eat. It’s centrally located in the National Orange Show Sports Center, making it easy to reach from anywhere on the property. Though the hours vary by day, The Catch is open from Thursday to Sunday and on select Mondays and Tuesdays.

The menu at The Catch is akin to what you would find at your favorite local sports bar, so of course there are appetizers aplenty. Their selection of starters includes favorites like Buffalo wings, nachos, and onion rings as well as some more unconventional options, such as fried zucchini and fried green beans.

National Orange Show Event CenterThe Catch’s assortment of entrees is just as varied as their appetizers. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food you’ve got plenty of dishes to pick from, including three types of burritos and authentic street tacos filled with your choice of carne asada or pollo asado. They’ve also got more than five types of burgers as well as hot dogs, pizza, and more.

Breakfast is an all-day affair at The Catch, so breakfast fans can get their fix no matter what time it is. Options include a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, country omelet, and a breakfast plate consisting of two eggs, seasoned potatoes, bacon or sausage, and white, wheat, or sourdough toast.

 

Inland Center

Like most malls, Inland Center has plenty of places to grab a quick bite to eat. These eateries include Charleys Philly Steaks, Hot Dog on a Stick, Panda Express, Sbarro, Subway, and Teriyaki Express.

If you’re in the mood for something sweet instead, Inland Center is also home to an Auntie Anne’s, Mrs. Fields, See’s Candies, Sweet Factory, and Wetzel’s Pretzels as well as some lesser-known vendors like Prinkipia Yogurt, Surf City Squeeze, and Kahala Coffee Traders.

All of these eateries are located on the first floor of Inland Center, so you don’t have to worry about wasting too much time trying to find the one you’re looking for. That means more time you can spend shopping at Inland Center’s selection of nearly 100 stores!

 

Burger Mania

National Orange Show Event Center

As far as local restaurants near the National Orange Show Event Center go, Burger Mania is one of the best. Fortunately, it’s one of the closest as well at only a short walk down South E Street.

This unassuming burger joint is family owned and operated and has been around since 2003, so you know the food’s got to be good. As their name suggests, they’ve got a variety of burgers on their menu, with toppings ranging from bacon, cheese, and chili to avocado and pastrami. Don’t be surprised if you have a hard time deciding which one to get.

Burgers aren’t the only thing they’re cooking up at Burger Mania however. Their menu is much more extensive than what you’d expect to find at a typical fast food restaurant. Of course they’ve got classic sides like onion rings and fries, but also tacos, burritos, enchiladas, salads, sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, and much, much more.
