Crow Creek Gold Mine

Anchorage - Things to do with your Team - Travel - Hotels4Teams

Crow Creek Gold Mine provides a unique opportunity for your team to relive the historic gold rush of Alaska. Their property is still producing gold to this very day, and offers a great experience for families, as well as those more experienced and serious about gold prospecting. With a little bit of work, as well as some luck, you might find yourself coming down with a severe case of “gold fever.”

All gold miners will receive gold pans, shovels, buckets, panning demonstration, glass vial, and a pay dirt packet. The pay dirt packet is for practicing with and all packets contain a few pieces of gold to ensure you have the technique down before you head out to the creek and try it for real! They also rent out sluice boxes for those wanting to work a little harder on the day. Tours and excursions can be booked for large groups as well as small groups, or even just an individual.

If gold panning is not your thing, then you can still come to stretch your legs, take in the sites, and talk a little history! They have plenty of friendly staff that are always willing to answer questions about the area. Historic buildings and plentiful amounts of antique mining relics are fun to walk around and explore. If you have a green thumb, then make sure you swing in and check out their amazing flower gardens! Your team can enjoy a salmon bake, hiking, sightseeing and much more at Crow Creek Gold Mine!
