Las Vegas Convention Center – Things To Do With Your Team

You’ve undoubtedly heard of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. If your team is heading to the Las Vegas Convention Center, you can witness the Strip with your own two eyes. The massive 3.2 million-square-foot convention center is located adjacent to it.

The heart of Las Vegas is right at the center’s doorstep, so you will be able to find plenty for you and your team to do when you have some free time. The Las Vegas Convention Center is also a top-notch facility, so it’ll be a great place to visit for a tournament. In 2012, the Las Vegas Convention Center earned Gold Certification by the International Association of Convention Centers, distinguishing it from the other convention centers also located in Las Vegas.

Things to Do

Adventuredome

An amusement park right down the road from the convention center, Adventuredome is packed full of thrilling rides and games. The entire team will be able to spend hours here before getting even the slightest bit bored. One of the park’s featured attractions is called Batman Laser Challenge. In this laser maze, you are tasked with protecting Gotham from the Joker’s devious intentions. Will you make Batman proud, or fail to defeat the Joker?

If you want something that’ll get the adrenaline pumping, Adventuredome has a few roller coasters that are sure to satisfy the thrill seekers of the group. Indoor bungee jumping and rock climbing are also available if you’re looking for further adrenaline spikes.

For those who aren’t as adventurous, they will be happy to know that they can play a round of mini golf, enjoy an arcade, or drive around and cause ruckus in bumper cars. Groups of 15 or more are eligible for a group rate. 2880 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Rise Above Vegas

Las Vegas Convention CenterAttractions located in hotels and casinos are a normal occurrence in Las Vegas since the city is saturated with them. Rise Above Vegas is no different. Located at the Stratosphere Casino and Hotel near the Las Vegas Convention Center, you’ll find an observation tower that sticks out in the Las Vegas skyline.

If you and your team are interested, you can take a trip to the top of the tower and see Las Vegas from a perspective very few people do. Snap some photos of the awesome view so you can share them with everyone back home.

Rise Above Vegas isn’t just a pretty sight though. High above the city, you will also find three thrill rides. Big Shot shoots you up into the air and brings you back down multiple times. You may have been on a ride similar to this, but not while you’re already on top of a tall building. Take a ride on Insanity and experience three g’s of speed. You will be spun around rapidly by mechanical arms until the city is nothing but a blur. The final ride, X-Scream is a fast paced roller coaster that likes to remind you just how high up you really are. Rise Above Vegas will be one attraction that your team talks about for a long time. 2000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104
